Rolls Royce Corniche Convertible, 1965

Wood trim of classic Rolls Royces and Bentleys is mostly in untouched original condition when handed-over for refurbishing.

The basic condition of the wood is mainly in good order but due to a rather thick application of laquer by the manufacturer the parts have a tendency to surface cracks after some years. The remaining laquer surface can be removed with the help of a hot air gun but a lot of care and experience is required to avoid burning of the veneer.
