Horch 930 Convertible, 1936

The wood trim of this seldom pre-war Horch is made of massiv wood patinated to a dark shade similar to the Mercedes Ponton Saloons. The crack in main dashboard panel had to be repaired first before the surface restoration could be carried out. A difficult task was the rebuilt of the silver decoration lines at the instrument panel which where originally being painted by hand. We finally found a thin silver trim used for modern car decoration which served the purpose perfectly well. The missing fixing pins of the metal frames could also be replaced.
